Drug intelligence / Profile preview
carePATCH is a dual-layer dehydrated human placental allograft tissue-based product developed by Tiger BioSciences (TigerGMP) for regenerative medicine and wound care applications. It is composed of two layers of human amnion membrane, including the epithelium and basement membrane, which serve as a natural, homologous barrier to protect wounds from the external environment. Regulated as a Human Cell, Tissue and Cellular and Tissue-Based Product (HCT/P) under Section 361 of the Public Health Service Act, carePATCH is indicated for the management of acute and chronic wounds, including hard-to-heal conditions such as venous leg ulcers and pressure ulcers. The product is terminally sterilized via gamma irradiation and is designed to provide mechanical protection and a biological scaffold that supports the body's innate wound-healing processes.
