Overview
**Caresoft** is a topical anti-itching (antipruritic) lotion developed and marketed by Surecare Pharma. It is formulated as a fixed-dose combination of aloe vera, calamine, and light liquid paraffin. Calamine provides a cooling sensation and relieves itching and skin irritation, while aloe vera hydrates, soothes, and promotes skin healing. Light liquid paraffin acts as an emollient, forming a protective barrier on the skin to lock in moisture and prevent dryness. Caresoft is approved and marketed for the relief of mild itching associated with rashes, eczema, sunburn, insect bites, and other minor skin irritations.
