Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**Carfilzomib + pomalidomide + dexamethasone** is an investigational co-administration regimen for relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma. It combines carfilzomib, an irreversible proteasome inhibitor; pomalidomide, a cereblon-binding immunomodulatory drug that promotes degradation of Ikaros and Aiolos; and dexamethasone, a glucocorticoid receptor agonist with lympholytic and anti-inflammatory activity. Commonly called **KPd**, the regimen has been evaluated in phase 1/2 and phase 2 studies, including in lenalidomide-refractory and heavily pretreated multiple myeloma populations.
