Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Carilizumab is a monoclonal antibody that functions as a Programmed Death-1 (PD-1) inhibitor. It is currently under investigation for the treatment of advanced dMMR gastric cancer, often in combination with other therapeutic agents such as apatinib. By blocking the PD-1 pathway, Carilizumab aims to enhance the body's anti-tumor immune response, allowing the immune system to better recognize and attack cancer cells. The drug is being developed by entities including The First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui Medical University.
