Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CARIS-401 is a preclinical-stage antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) being developed by Caris Healthcare (Caris Life Sciences) for the treatment of solid tumors. The therapeutic candidate was identified using Caris's proprietary ADAPT (Aptamer-based Drug Discovery and Precision Therapeutics) platform, which utilizes a library of trillions of synthetic oligonucleotides to identify novel cell-surface targets and ligands. As an ADC, CARIS-401 is designed to selectively deliver a cytotoxic payload to tumor cells, thereby maximizing anti-tumor efficacy while minimizing off-target toxicity to healthy tissues.
