Administered intravenously (doxorubicin followed by carmustine) with oral melphalan, this regimen leverages synergistic cytotoxic effects for induction therapy or disease control in aggressive or symptomatic multiple myeloma, though it carries risks of bone marrow suppression, pulmonary toxicity, and cardiotoxicity.[1][7]
