Carnocare (also marketed as Carnocare DS) is an oral syrup formulation of carnosine (L-carnosine), a naturally occurring endogenous dipeptide composed of beta-alanine and L-histidine. Developed and marketed by Puneet Laboratories, Carnocare is highly concentrated in brain and muscle tissues and exhibits potent neuroprotective, antioxidant, and anti-glycation properties. It is primarily used as a dietary supplement to support cognitive health, memory, focus, and neurodevelopment, particularly in children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), as well as in adults with neurodegenerative conditions.
