Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ENV-105 + apalutamide is an investigational combination therapy consisting of carotuximab (ENV-105), a chimeric monoclonal antibody targeting CD105 (endoglin), and apalutamide (Erleada), an oral androgen receptor inhibitor. CD105 is a cell-surface glycoprotein upregulated in response to androgen receptor inhibition, contributing to treatment resistance and disease relapse in prostate cancer. By blocking CD105-mediated signaling, carotuximab is designed to restore tumor sensitivity to androgen receptor-directed therapies. The combination is being evaluated in a Phase 2 clinical trial (NCT05534646) for the treatment of patients with metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC) who have progressed on prior androgen receptor signaling inhibitors.
