Overview

CART is an autologous chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapy developed by Base Therapeutics. It is built upon the company's proprietary BEAT-CART (Base Editing-mediated Allogeneic/Autologous T-cell) platform, which leverages AccuBase base editing technology. This platform enables a 'one-step' engineering process where the CAR gene is integrated while simultaneously editing other genomic loci to enhance the T-cells' therapeutic potential, such as improving persistence or overcoming immunosuppression.
