Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CART-HER-2 is a genetically engineered lymphocyte therapy, specifically a CAR-T cell therapy, designed to treat advanced HER-2 positive solid tumors that are refractory to chemotherapy and HER-2 antibody inhibitor therapy. It involves transducing autologous T cells with an anti-HER-2 vector, which includes CD137 and CD3 zeta signaling domains, to create chimeric antigen receptor T cells (CART-HER-2 cells). These engineered T cells are intended to recognize and kill cancer cells expressing the Human Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor-2 (HER-2) antigen.
