Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CART-TM4SF1 + CART-EpCAM is an investigational combination chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy being developed by suhaichuan for the treatment of advanced solid tumors. The therapy involves the administration of two distinct CAR-T cell products: one targeting Transmembrane 4 L Six Family Member 1 (TM4SF1) and the other targeting Epithelial Cell Adhesion Molecule (EpCAM). Both antigens are frequently overexpressed in epithelial-derived malignancies such as pancreatic, colorectal, gastric, and lung cancers. To enhance safety, the CAR constructs incorporate an epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR)-based safety switch, allowing for the selective elimination of the engineered cells if toxicity occurs. It is currently being evaluated in a Phase 1 clinical trial to assess safety, tolerability, and preliminary anti-tumor activity.
