Overview

Cartiform is a cryopreserved, viable osteochondral allograft designed for the regenerative treatment of full-thickness articular cartilage defects. Developed by Arthrex and originally a product of Osiris Therapeutics, it consists of human cadaveric articular cartilage and a thin layer of subchondral bone. The graft contains viable chondrocytes, chondrogenic growth factors, and extracellular matrix proteins, which facilitate the repair of joint lesions in a single surgical procedure. It is stored at -80°C and maintains viability for up to two years, providing a biologic solution for joint restoration, particularly in the knee.
