Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**Carveda-N** is an oral fixed-dose cardiovascular combination marketed by Ferozsons Laboratories. It contains **carvedilol**, a nonselective beta-adrenergic and alpha-1-adrenergic receptor blocker that lowers heart rate, myocardial workload, and peripheral vascular resistance, plus **ivabradine**, a selective inhibitor of the sinoatrial-node hyperpolarization-activated cyclic nucleotide-gated channel current that reduces heart rate without directly reducing myocardial contractility. Ferozsons describes the product as supporting heart-rate control and reducing cardiac strain; the combination is used as substitution therapy in patients already controlled on the individual components for chronic heart failure with systolic dysfunction or chronic stable angina pectoris.
