CB-ChMF-12 is a cell-free biologic drug candidate being developed by Corion Biotech (Corinca) for the treatment of epithelial cancers, including ovarian and breast cancer. It consists of conditioned medium (the secretome) derived from human Placenta-Derived Mesenchymal Stem Cells (hPDMSCs) that are specifically isolated from preeclamptic placentas. This "cell therapy without cells" approach utilizes the unique properties of the preeclamptic secretome, which has been shown to exhibit anti-angiogenic action and the ability to inhibit oncogene expression. CB-ChMF-12 is currently in the discovery/preclinical stage of development and is protected by patents in multiple regions, including the EU, USA, Canada, China, and Japan.
