Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**CB101** is CureBiotech's proprietary, intratumoral, controlled-release hydrogel formulation of **resiquimod**, a small-molecule toll-like receptor 7 and toll-like receptor 8 agonist. The polymer-matrix formulation is intended to retain resiquimod locally within tumors, activate innate immune signaling and dendritic-cell function, and improve antitumor immune responses while limiting systemic immune toxicity. It has been evaluated with hypofractionated radiation therapy in a pilot study in dogs with head and neck cancer, and CureBiotech has also described preclinical development with radiation therapy for human head and neck squamous cell carcinoma.
