Overview

CB201 is a fully human monoclonal antibody that targets CD300c, a regulatory protein involved in monocyte differentiation. By engaging CD300c, the antibody promotes the differentiation of macrophages into monocyte-derived macrophages (MDMs) and modulates the secretion of cytokines and chemokines. In preclinical studies using the 5xFAD mouse model of Alzheimer's disease, CB201 treatment has been shown to reduce cerebral amyloid-beta (Aβ) plaque load and improve cognitive and behavioral deficits. The mechanism of action focuses on harnessing the immune system to clear pathological protein aggregates and alleviate neuroinflammation, positioning CB201 as a novel immunotherapeutic candidate for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease.
