Overview

CB65 is a **synthetic small molecule** that acts as a **selective agonist of the cannabinoid 2 (CB2) receptor**[1][5]. It has demonstrated **antiproliferative and pro-apoptotic effects** on osteosarcoma cell lines MG63 and Saos-2 in vitro through CB2 receptor-dependent mechanisms. The antiproliferative action is blocked by a CB2 antagonist, supporting its specificity. CB65 and a novel liposomal formulation have been studied for targeted delivery and enhanced effects against bone tumors. The molecule has also shown efficacy in preclinical models of ocular inflammation (retinal microvasculature)[1][3][5]. It is for research use; there is no evidence of clinical use or approval for any indication.
