Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CBB1 is a natural, fully human monoclonal antibody developed as an immunotherapeutic agent for the prevention and treatment of rabies. It is designed to neutralize the rabies virus by binding to viral antigens, thereby preventing infection or progression of disease following exposure. The drug is being evaluated both as a standalone therapy and in combination with rabies vaccine or human rabies immunoglobulin (HRIG) in healthy adults. Its mechanism involves direct viral neutralization through specific antigen binding[1][6].
