Overview
CBD100 is a transdermal gel formulation of cannabidiol (CBD) developed through a joint venture between CBDerma Technology and Futura Medical. The product utilizes Futura Medical's proprietary DermaSys® drug delivery technology, which is designed to enhance skin penetration and provide rapid, targeted local delivery of the active pharmaceutical ingredient. Cannabidiol is a non-psychoactive, non-addictive small molecule derived from the cannabis plant. CBD100 is intended for a variety of applications, including the treatment of dermal conditions, topical pain relief, and cosmeceutical uses. As of 2021, the developers were conducting stability studies and exploring commercialization options for the formulation.
