Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**CBDEX10** is an investigational fixed-dose, sublingual cannabinoid spray developed by Yas Daru for adjunctive treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus. Each puff delivers 100 micrograms of cannabidiol and 10 micrograms of delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol in a 10:1 ratio. In a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled phase 1 study, two puffs twice daily for eight weeks were evaluated for glycemic and lipid control; the publication reported improvements in fasting glucose, hemoglobin A1c, insulin resistance, total cholesterol, triglycerides, and LDL cholesterol versus placebo.
