Overview

CBG-006 is an autologous chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy targeting Immunoglobulin-like transcript 3 (ILT3), also known as LILRB4. Developed by Zhejiang Provincial People's Hospital, it is specifically designed for the treatment of relapsed or refractory acute myeloid leukemia (AML), particularly the FAB M4 (acute myelomonocytic leukemia) and M5 (acute monocytic leukemia) subtypes, which frequently express ILT3. ILT3 is an inhibitory receptor that contributes to immune evasion in monocytic AML. By engineering T cells to express a CAR specific for ILT3, CBG-006 aims to selectively identify and eliminate ILT3-positive leukemic blasts.
