Overview
CBH-002 is a recombinant humanized monoclonal antibody targeting the Human Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor 2 (HER2), currently under development by CureBay Biopharmaceutical. It is designed to treat HER2-overexpressing malignancies, such as breast and gastric cancers. By binding to the extracellular domain IV of the HER2 protein, CBH-002 inhibits the homodimerization and heterodimerization of the receptor, thereby blocking downstream proliferative signaling pathways, including the PI3K/Akt and MAPK/ERK cascades. Furthermore, the antibody's Fc region facilitates antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC), recruiting natural killer (NK) cells and other immune effectors to the tumor site. CBH-002 is being evaluated in clinical trials to establish its safety, pharmacokinetics, and anti-tumor activity in patients with advanced HER2-positive solid tumors.
