CBI-1214 is a T-cell engager, specifically a bispecific monoclonal antibody being developed by Cartography Biosciences for the treatment of colorectal cancer[1][3]. It is designed to simultaneously bind to the tumor antigen LY6G6D (targeted on colorectal cancer cells, especially microsatellite stable (MSS) and microsatellite instability-low (MSI-L) subtypes) and to a target on T cells, bringing the immune cells in proximity to the tumor to induce tumor cell killing[3][4][5]. The drug is engineered for optimized anti-tumor activity and safety, and is intended to address the unmet need in the treatment of the most common forms of colorectal cancer, which are poorly responsive to current immunotherapies[3][4][11]. CBI-1214 was discovered using Cartography’s proprietary ATLAS and SUMMIT computational platforms, which leverage large-scale, single-cell analyses of healthy and tumor tissues to identify highly specific cancer targets[3][4][5].
