CBP-0276

CBP-0276 (also known as RAP-103) is a small therapeutic peptide developed by Clarent Biopharma for the treatment of inflammatory conditions, primarily moderate to severe plaque psoriasis. It functions as a highly potent modulator of the CCR5 receptor, with activity demonstrated in the picomolar to femtomolar range. Designed to selectively modulate immune signaling pathways involved in inflammation and tissue injury, CBP-0276 aims to provide therapeutic benefit while preserving normal immune function, avoiding the broad immune suppression characteristic of many existing treatments. The compound is orally bioavailable and has also been developed for intravenous administration. It is currently in Phase 2 clinical development, with studies evaluating its safety and efficacy in improving Psoriasis Area and Severity Index (PASI) scores and quality of life in adults with moderate to severe plaque psoriasis.
