Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CBP-8088 is a bispecific antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) being developed by Coherent Biopharma for the treatment of metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC) and triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC). Developed using the company's proprietary Bi-XDC technology platform, CBP-8088 is the first PROTAC conjugate drug to feature a bi-specific targeting ligand system. This design allows for the precise delivery of a PROTAC (Proteolysis-Targeting Chimera) payload to tumor cells, where it induces the degradation of specific intracellular proteins to inhibit cancer progression. By combining the specificity of bispecific antibodies with the potent protein-degrading mechanism of PROTACs, CBP-8088 aims to improve both safety and therapeutic efficacy. As of early 2024, the drug is in preclinical development, and its specific molecular targets remain undisclosed.
