Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CBS101 (also referred to as CB101) is a preclinical-stage monoclonal antibody developed by CellmAbs. It is designed to target cancer-specific glycans, which are post-translational modifications of proteins that are aberrantly expressed on the surface of various solid tumors but absent or restricted in healthy tissues. By binding to these tumor-associated carbohydrate antigens (TACAs), such as the Tn antigen, CBS101 aims to provide a highly selective therapeutic approach for oncology, potentially minimizing off-target effects. The program is currently in preclinical development for the treatment of solid tumors.
