Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CBT-15G is a monoclonal antibody directed against the extracellular domain of Doublecortin-like kinase 1 (DCLK1), a protein that serves as a marker for cancer stem cells in various malignancies, including pancreatic and colorectal cancers. DCLK1 is known to regulate critical oncogenic pathways, such as the epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT), which facilitates tumor metastasis and chemoresistance. Developed by COARE Biotechnology, CBT-15G works by binding to the DCLK1 protein on the surface of cancer cells, thereby inhibiting tumor growth and progression. Preclinical studies in pancreatic cancer xenograft models have shown that systemic administration of CBT-15G significantly reduces tumor volume and weight, suggesting its potential as a targeted therapeutic for aggressive cancers.
