Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CBT004 is a lead preclinical candidate, a CD83-targeting antibody developed for the prophylaxis and treatment of graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) and transplant rejection. The technology originated from research at the Australian Cooperative Research Centre for Biomarker Translation (CRC-BT), in collaboration with the University of Queensland and the University of California San Francisco, based on discoveries by Professor Derek Hart's group at the University of Sydney. TransBio licensed this technology to DendroCyte BioTech, which is advancing the drug into clinical development.
