CBX-15

CBX-15 is a peptide-drug conjugate (PDC) developed by Cybrexa Therapeutics for the treatment of solid tumors, including triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC). It utilizes the proprietary alphalex™ platform, which features a pH-Low Insertion Peptide (pHLIP®) variant that targets the acidic microenvironment of tumors. Under low pH conditions, the peptide forms an alpha helix and inserts into the cancer cell membrane, delivering the potent cytotoxic payload monomethyl auristatin E (MMAE) directly into the cell. Unlike antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs), CBX-15 does not require specific antigen expression for targeting, potentially allowing for broader application across various tumor types while minimizing off-target toxicity to healthy tissues.
