Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CBX 200 is a tissue-engineered liver therapeutic being developed by Cellbricks Therapeutics for the treatment of chronic liver disease. Developed using proprietary 3D bioprinting technology, CBX 200 is designed as a functional liver tissue construct intended to restore or supplement metabolic and synthetic liver functions in patients with chronic hepatic failure. The program aims to create complex, vascularized tissue architectures that can integrate with the host system to provide functional support, potentially serving as a bridge to transplantation or a long-term therapeutic alternative. As of early 2024, the program is in the discovery stage of development.
