CC-01

CC-01 is a preclinical-stage antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) being developed by CompleCure for the treatment of skin cancer. The therapeutic candidate consists of a monoclonal antibody targeting the Human Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor 2 (HER2) conjugated to an auristatin (AuRI) cytotoxic payload. CC-01 is designed to selectively bind to HER2-expressing tumor cells, where it is internalized to release the potent auristatin derivative. The payload then disrupts microtubule dynamics by inhibiting tubulin polymerization, leading to cell cycle arrest and apoptosis. This targeted approach aims to maximize anti-tumor efficacy while minimizing systemic toxicity in patients with HER2-positive skin malignancies.
