Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CC-3 is a bispecific T-cell engager (BiTE) antibody with CD276xCD3 specificity. It has a dual mechanism of action, binding to CD276 on cancer cells and tumor vessels of colorectal cancer while also binding to CD3 on T cells. CC-3 was developed in a novel format that prolongs serum half-life and reduces off-target T cell activation, potentially resulting in fewer side effects. The optimized format allows for application of effective doses with expected high anticancer activity.
