Overview

CC-486 is an oral form of azacitidine, a demethylation agent that helps bone marrow produce normal blood cells and kills abnormal cells. Nivolumab (Opdivo) is an immune checkpoint inhibitor that targets PD-1 receptors. This combination therapy is being investigated as a treatment for Hodgkin lymphoma, particularly in cases refractory to PD-1 blockade. It has shown promising results in clinical trials with a favorable safety profile.
