Overview

CC-885 is a cereblon (CRBN) modulator and molecular glue degrader with potent anti-tumor activity. Originally developed by Celgene Corporation, it promotes CRL4^CRBN^ E3 ubiquitin ligase-dependent degradation of multiple target proteins including GSPT1, BNIP3L, PLK1, and GOLM1. The compound contains a glutarimide ring that directly interacts with CRBN. CC-885 has demonstrated synergistic effects with volasertib in NSCLC and shows promise in combination therapies for AML and HCC. Primary indications under investigation include hepatocellular carcinoma, non-small-cell lung cancer, and acute myeloid leukemia.
