Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CC-98633 is an autologous chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cell therapy that targets B-cell maturation antigen (BCMA), a protein highly expressed on malignant plasma cells in multiple myeloma. Upon administration, the engineered T cells specifically recognize and kill BCMA-expressing tumor cells. The therapy uses the NEX-T platform for CAR design and is being developed primarily for relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma. Clinical trials have evaluated its safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics, and efficacy in this patient population[1][2][3][4][5][7].
