CC-EIEs (Cervical Cancer-specific Engineered Immune Effectors) is an autologous cell-based immunotherapy developed by the Shenzhen Geno-Immune Medical Institute for the treatment of advanced or recurrent cervical cancer. The therapy involves the ex vivo engineering of a patient's own immune cells, specifically cytotoxic T lymphocytes (CTLs), to recognize and eliminate cervical cancer cells. This approach falls under the institute's broader "Engineered Immune Effector" (EIE) platform, which aims to provide targeted cellular treatments for solid tumors. CC-EIEs are currently being evaluated in Phase 1/2 clinical trials to assess safety, feasibility of generation, and anti-tumor efficacy in patients with stage III-IV or recurrent disease.
