Overview

CC24 is a uniquely inactivated rotavirus vaccine developed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to provide an alternative to oral administration. It is designed as a next-generation rotavirus vaccine and is being evaluated for delivery via dissolvable microarray technology, which could improve ease of use and accessibility compared to traditional oral vaccines. The first-in-human clinical trial of CC24 was launched by Emory University and Micron Biomedical in 2025[3].
