Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**CC49-VS-MMAE** is an experimental, preclinical antibody-drug conjugate directed against **tumor-associated glycoprotein 72**. It consists of the murine anti-TAG72 monoclonal antibody CC49 conjugated through reduced hinge-region disulfides to the microtubule-disrupting payload monomethyl auristatin E using a vinylsulfone linker. The construct was evaluated in ovarian cancer models at City of Hope, but was not further studied because its low drug-to-antibody ratio of approximately 2.3 was considered unfavorable relative to alternative CC49-MMAE linker constructs.
