Overview
Auro Vaccines is developing a viral vector vaccine for Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever (CCHF) using its proprietary VesiculoVax™ platform. This platform utilizes an attenuated recombinant vesicular stomatitis virus (rVSV) as a vector to express antigens from the Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever virus (CCHFV). Developed in collaboration with the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB), the vaccine aims to stimulate protective immune responses against CCHFV, a widespread tick-borne viral disease with high fatality rates. The vaccine is designed to provide rapid and durable protection against the virus, which is recognized as a significant public health threat.
