CCIBPR01005 is a long-acting recombinant human growth hormone (rhGH) analog developed by the Changchun Institute of Biological Products. It is designed for the treatment of growth hormone deficiency, particularly in pediatric patients, aiming to reduce the injection frequency compared to conventional daily growth hormone therapies. The drug functions as an agonist of the growth hormone receptor, subsequently stimulating the synthesis and release of insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF-1) and IGF-binding protein 3 (IGFBP-3), which are critical mediators of somatic growth. CCIBPR01005 is currently undergoing early-phase clinical evaluation to assess its safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacodynamic profile in human subjects.
