Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CCL7 antibody refers to monoclonal or polyclonal antibodies designed to target and neutralize C-C motif chemokine ligand 7 (CCL7), also known as monocyte chemoattractant protein 3 (MCP-3). CCL7 is a chemokine that acts as a chemoattractant for monocytes, macrophages, and other immune cells, and is implicated in various inflammatory, fibrotic, and oncological processes. In preclinical models, CCL7 antibodies have been investigated for their potential to ameliorate renal fibrosis, diabetic vasculopathy, rheumatoid arthritis, and neuropathic pain, as well as to overcome resistance to immunotherapy in colorectal cancer by modulating macrophage infiltration and polarization.
