Overview

CCM-205 is a novel, orally bioavailable, fourth-generation epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) inhibitor developed for the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). It is designed to overcome both on-target and off-target resistance mechanisms that limit the efficacy of third-generation EGFR inhibitors. Preclinical data presented at ASCO 2025 demonstrate that CCM-205 exhibits potent activity as a monotherapy and shows high efficacy in combination with third-generation EGFR inhibitors or anti-EGFR antibodies, particularly in models resistant to existing therapies. The compound significantly outperforms other investigational fourth-generation EGFR inhibitors in drug resistance models and has strong potential for clinical application in NSCLC patients who have developed resistance to current standard-of-care treatments[1][2][3][6][9].
