Overview

CCM-308 is an orally bioavailable, fourth-generation epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) inhibitor developed for the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). It is designed to overcome both on-target and off-target resistance mechanisms that arise with third-generation EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs), such as Osimertinib. Preclinical data indicate that CCM-308 significantly outperforms other investigational fourth-generation EGFR inhibitors in models of drug-resistant NSCLC. The compound is part of a broader program by CCM Biosciences aimed at addressing the urgent unmet need for therapies capable of overcoming mutational and non-mutational resistance to current standard-of-care EGFR TKIs[1][2].
