Overview

CCT-007 is a preclinical small interfering RNA (siRNA) therapeutic developed by Canary Cure Therapeutics. It is specifically designed to treat obesity, metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH), and metabolic dysfunction in women, particularly targeting genes over-expressed in post-menopausal women. The drug works by modulating the endocannabinoid system and energy expenditure pathways to promote the browning or beigeing of white adipose tissue. Administered subcutaneously twice per year, CCT-007 aims to achieve rapid weight loss and muscle enhancement with a favorable side effect profile compared to existing therapies.
