CCT-917 is specifically designed to promote the 'browning' of white adipose tissue (WAT), a process that converts energy-storing white fat into energy-burning brown-like fat. By inducing this thermogenic program, the therapy aims to increase systemic energy expenditure and provide metabolic protection against weight gain and liver inflammation. It is intended for infrequent subcutaneous administration.
