Overview

CD155 bispecific antibody is a **bispecific monoclonal antibody** designed to simultaneously bind CD155 (also known as poliovirus receptor, PVR), a transmembrane glycoprotein overexpressed in various cancers, and CD3, a component of the T cell receptor complex. This antibody acts by redirecting and activating T cells to kill CD155-positive tumor cells through cross-linking T cells with cancer cells, leading to enhanced T cell cytotoxicity, increased secretion of cytokines (e.g., IFN-γ, TNF-α, IL-2), and increased expression of activation markers (e.g., CD69, 4-1BB)[1][2][4]. Preclinical studies have shown potent anti-tumor effects in bladder, prostate, and gynecological cancers. It is an investigational immunotherapy, mainly developed for oncology indications such as bladder cancer, prostate cancer, and gynecological malignancies[1][2][4].
