CD19-BCMA UCAR-T cell injection is an allogeneic, "off-the-shelf" chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy designed to simultaneously target B-cell maturation antigen (BCMA) and CD19. Developed by Zhongshan People's Hospital, this dual-targeting approach aims to overcome antigen escape and improve efficacy in patients with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma. As a universal CAR-T (UCAR-T) product, it is derived from healthy donor T-cells and engineered to minimize graft-versus-host disease (GvHD) and host-versus-graft (HvG) rejection, allowing for immediate availability without the need for patient-specific manufacturing. The therapy is currently being evaluated in clinical trials for its safety, tolerability, and preliminary antitumor activity.
