CD19 CAR-T + CD7 CAR-T is an investigational dual–CAR T cell therapeutic approach in which T lymphocytes are genetically engineered to express two distinct chimeric antigen receptors, one targeting the B‑cell lineage marker CD19 and the other targeting the T/NK-cell marker CD7. By combining CD19- and CD7-directed CARs, this strategy is designed to eliminate mixed-lineage or antigen-heterogeneous hematologic malignancies (for example B‑cell leukemias/lymphomas and CD7-positive T‑cell leukemias/lymphomas) while reducing the risk of antigen escape that can occur with single‑target CD19 CAR-T or CD7 CAR-T therapies. Each CAR construct typically comprises an scFv specific for CD19 or CD7, a transmembrane domain, and intracellular signaling and costimulatory domains (such as CD28 or 4‑1BB) to drive potent cytotoxic T-cell activation and proliferation upon antigen engagement, thereby mediating targeted lysis of malignant B and T cells.
