CD19 CAR-T cells + CD30 CAR-T cells is a combination cell therapy consisting of two distinct populations of autologous T lymphocytes genetically engineered to express chimeric antigen receptors (CARs) targeting the B-cell marker CD19 and the Hodgkin lymphoma-associated marker CD30. Each component is designed to recognize its respective surface antigen on malignant cells, leading to targeted cytotoxicity. This dual-targeting approach aims to overcome tumor heterogeneity and reduce the risk of antigen escape in relapsed or refractory classical Hodgkin lymphoma (cHL) or other malignancies co-expressing these antigens. The mechanism involves direct recognition and killing of tumor cells expressing either or both antigens by redirected patient-derived T-cells[2]. Early clinical experience suggests that sequential or cocktail infusions at low doses may be safe and effective in high-risk cHL patients, but more trials are needed for validation[1][2].
