Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**CD19-CAR-TNK** is a preclinical, off-the-shelf CD19-directed chimeric antigen receptor natural killer cell therapy developed through a collaboration between Conkwest and Sorrento Therapeutics. The proposed product uses Conkwest's NK-92-derived Neukoplast cell line as the cytotoxic effector population and incorporates a Sorrento-designed CAR intended to recognize CD19, a B-cell surface antigen. CD19-directed CAR-TNK cells were proposed for B-cell hematologic malignancies as part of a broader CAR-TNK program intended to provide scalable allogeneic cell immunotherapy with potentially lower cytokine-release risk than patient-derived CAR-T-cell products.
